			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Taken on a very grey trip to the North Yorkshire coast on a workshop with <a title="Northscape Photography" href="http://www.northscape.com" target="_blank">Northscape</a>.  After taking shots down on the pier and then climbing the many (many) steps up to the Abbey and the minibus home, I headed off to have a view of the harbour from the top of the cliff.</p>
<p>This little fishing boat was heading out into the mist and added that little something to the photo.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s been enhanced a little with some blue toning and selective colouring on the reflected lights from the boat.  Oh and the lights on the pier came on not long after the boat passed the exit to the harbour, so a little artistic license there!</p>

2 images stitched manually in Photoshop and a little tweak to the levels to balance the light/dark a bit better.

		<description><![CDATA[As it&#8217;s soon to be gone (to a better place where it&#8217;ll get some exercise), I thought it fitting to start this blog of my photos off with an old one of my Westfield.
This made it to the front cover of the Westfield calendar 2007, pretty pleased about that I was too.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As it&#8217;s soon to be gone (to a better place where it&#8217;ll get some exercise), I thought it fitting to start this blog of my photos off with an old one of my Westfield.</p>
<p>This made it to the front cover of the Westfield calendar 2007, pretty pleased about that I was too.</p>
<p>A fair amount of shake in it, but there is a fair amount of shake in the car.</p>
<p>A relatively long shutter speed, achieved through the use of a polarizer on this sunny day, and a cable release were used to get the shot.  That and a tripod bungee-corded to the roll bar!</p>
